Fruit cobbler has come to be known as one of America’s great dessert treats. Everyone may not be a fan but you must admit that you’ve tried it and you kind of liked it. I’m not big on cobblers myself but occasionally I enjoy a warm scoop of fruit cobbler underneath a cold scoop of vanilla ice cream.

As the temperatures drop in the late fall and continue trough winter I usually make my family a warm and hearty breakfast. I can take a regular bowl of oatmeal and turn it into any kind of cobbler my family has a hankering for. I’ve used this recipe with peaches, apples, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries.

If you’re looking for a way to spruce up your Quaker oats, check out this video for the recipe and a tutorial for cobbler flavored oatmeal. I used peaches but you can substitute any fruit you desire.

Recently I went through my entire house and began purging items. I included everything from clothes, shoes, wigs, makeup, toys, kitchen utensils, etc. I didn’t stop until my entire house was torn apart and rebuilt room by room. The end product was astounding because the entire project turned into a family mission to rid ourselves of unnecessary or underused things.

Those shoes you’ve only worn once could be the perfect accessory to another person’s ensemble. That wig that you tried on and didn’t like might make your best friend’s day. What about those cute baby clothes that belong to your 12 year old? I’m 100% they have no interest in wearing them. If you don’t know anyone who could use what you’re getting rid of then check local shelters for donation opprotunities.

I suggest every household takes one month each year to go through their stuff and completely clean house. This project made me feel so much better and the energy in my home completely changed.

Check out this video for a few details on on my household and personal relationship purge. YES! While cleaning the natural house I realized there was clutter in my spiritual house, emotions, friendships, etc.

I STARTED 2015 CLUTTER FREE!!! It is not too late to do the same.

Be FREE in 2015,
